About Akhil Bhartiya Sanskritik Sansthan (ABSS) Preserving Culture • Inspiring Change • Empowering Society. Founded in 1990 at Gandhi Bhavan, Lucknow, with just 11 passionate artists, Akhil Bhartiya Sanskritik Sansthan (ABSS) began its journey with a spectacular stage play on Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October 1990). What started as a small cultural movement has now grown into a nationwide organization with over 2500 dedicated artists across India. Over the years, ABSS has successfully staged more than 400 theatre productions and performed over 3000 street plays in various states, spreading awareness on crucial social issues. Our branches are located in Lucknow, Sitapur, Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh) and Mumbai (Maharashtra), and we continue to expand our cultural reach across the nation. Our second identity, ABSS Theatre Group, has become widely recognized for its dedication to theatre excellence and social awareness through art.

Our Vision & Mission: The primary aim of Akhil Bhartiya Sanskritik Sansthan is to preserve and promote Indian culture, values, and heritage through meaningful artistic expressions. We strive to give a new direction to society by organizing impactful theatre performances, dance shows, music events, and cultural festivals that reflect the essence of Indianness. Our efforts as an NGO are deeply rooted in the belief that art can inspire social change. Through our creative initiatives, we have continuously educated and motivated communities toward building a more aware, compassionate, and progressive India.

ABSS works extensively in the fields of: Social Awareness, Health & Education, Disaster & Risk Management, Cultural & Environmental Preservation. Through various government collaborations and social partnerships, we have led impactful awareness campaigns and educational programs on themes such as: AIDS Awareness, Pulse Polio Immunization, Cancer Prevention, Drug & Alcohol De-addiction, Health & Hygiene, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, NIPUN Bharat Mission, Family Management, Population Control, Superstition Eradication, Water Conservation, Jal Shakti Mission, Pollution & Environment, Anti-Terrorism, Disaster Relief (Flood, Fire, Earthquake, Tsunami), Traffic Safety, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and Yoga Awareness. More than 3000 street plays have been performed across India as part of these social campaigns, educating and inspiring thousands of people.
